Below is a showcase of the dogs I've handled to their championships, starting in 2004.

Thank you to all of their owners for allowing "Auntie Carrie" the honor of showing them!

Starr

Ch. Van D Bearmtn Stars 'N' Stripes, CGC

Starr came to me from Colorado with one 3-point major toward her championship.  In just a few weekends she earned 10 single points from the Bred-By-Exhibitor class.  We also won my first ever "Best Bred-By" award together & placed 4th in a large BBE group.  One of my proudest moments in dog showing!

Her final major came on the last day of the Wine Country Circuit in Romulus, NY, September 2009, less than 2 months after her first show with me.

Starr is my "grandpuppy" - bred & owned by Nick & Shannon Van Duren and myself.

Ch. Van D's Tangled Up N'Blu, CGC

Dylan finished his championship in September 2009 with Best of Breed over specials - including the top ranked Mastiff on the East Coast.

Dylan is also my "grandpuppy" - bred and co-owned by Nick & Shannon Van Duren and myself, owned by Mitch & Dana Gield.

Ruby

Ch. Kastle Rock's Magic Slippers

The first time Ruby & I showed together, we got Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite Sex for her first 2 points.  She got 2 more points later that same weekend.
She also won a 5-point major in tough competition at the Wine Country circuit 2008 in Romulus, NY.

Ruby belongs to Roanne & Doug Rist of Rockee Top Mastiffs & Bulldogs.

Alma

Ch. Valleywood's Fly Me to the Moon Dohse

Alma is pictured above left winning a 5-point major at 15 months of age, and on the right winning a single point in Timonium, MD.
She finished her championship her with a 3-point major her first time in the Open class at 18 months & 6 days old.

Alma is owned by Stacey & Richard Schank and bred by Jennifer Boyce of Valleywood Mastiffs.

Am/Can Ch. Stony Point's Northern Tradition

Steve & Catherine Conway contacted me in the fall of 2008 and asked me to show their Jewel for them.  She was already a Canadian champion, and she had 9 single points in the US.  I took Jewel with me to the shows in Syracuse in November 2008 and she won majors the first 2 days of the cluster.  She is pictured above left finishing her AKC championship at 19 months of age.

Jewel traveled with me in May 2009 to the MCOA National Specialty and made the cut for Best of Breed in a very strong lineup of bitches.

Dickens

Ch. Daydream Acres Grt Xpectations, CGC

Dickens was slow to mature and he got the majority of his points in 4 show weekends at 23 & 24 months old.  Between low entries and absentees breaking majors, it took us several months to find that one last major to finish him.  He completed his championship on July 31, 2008, the first day of the Steel Valley Cluster in Canfield, Ohio, with a 5-point major.  This was 4 years to the day after I finished his owners' first champion, Puff, at the same show cluster, also with a 5-point major, so it was a bittersweet day for all of us.  (see Puff at the bottom of this page)

Dickens belongs to Nick & Nancy Serdich, and is co-owned by his breeder, Sue Clinton.

Harrison

Ch. Landondale's Indiana Jones

In December of 2007, my friends Katie & Chris Kregger asked me to come to Texas to show their dog, Harrison.  As luck would have it, the weather was terrible.  After many layovers and missed connections I finally made it to Amarillo, but my luggage did not.  I had to show the first day of the 4-day cluster in jeans & t-shirt!  My show clothes arrived late Thursday evening, and I redeemed myself by winning two 4-point majors & a 5-point major for a total of 13 points in one long weekend!

Harley

Ch. Rockee Top Dream Rider

Harley has a great upbeat attitude and was so much fun to show.  Her first major came at just 11 months old on her first weekend of shows.  She finished her championship at 21 months of age by going BOW over her littermate brother Flint for a 4-point major.

Harley belongs to Roanne & Doug Rist of Rockee Top Mastiffs & Bulldogs.

Adeen

Ch. Moonhill Mohawk Kiss of the Gods, CGC

Adeen is the littermate of my girl, T'kila.  Adeen took RWB both days her first weekend with me.  Her second weekend she won her first 2 points & BOS over a multiple Best of Breed winning special.  After just 9 shows, Adeen had 3 reserves & 9 points, including both of her majors.  She went home for several months, came back the following summer and finished her championship by taking back-to-back Best of Breeds over specials.

Deeny is owned by Danielle Grand & Erik Dollman, and co-owned by her breeder, Kim Schramm of Moonhill Mastiffs.

Puff

Ch. Pendragon's Puff of Honalee

I showed Puff twice for Nick & Nancy Serdich and earned a 5-point major each time!

May 1, 2004 - Bucks County Kennel Club (MCOA Supported Entry)
Puff defeated nearly 100 other Mastiffs by taking Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, & Best of Opposite Sex over 14 female specials!

July 31, 2004 - Beaver County Kennel Club (Canfield, Ohio)
She needed just 2 single points to finish her championship, but in true Puff fashion, she finished BIG!
Puff is pictured above taking Winners Bitch for another 5-point major, and Best of Winners for a little added emphasis. :o)
